A beautiful day in Durban and 4 wonderful Moms to share it with. My mom, Molly, Kate's mom Lynn, and friends Maureen and Jean all enjoyed lunch at the Royal Natal Yacht Club on Mothers' Day today.

Mom's husband Gordon was Commodore of the RNYC for several years, being an avid yachtie and Captain of South Africa's team in the Admiral's Cup international series in England twice. Mom and I sailed up to then Lourenço Marques with Gordon in his yacht Golden Fleece and he then raced back to Durban in the annual Vasco de Gama race in about 1975 before the war in Mozambique.
